Answered - private questions — Effective Date: October 22, 2026.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the operator of the mobile application Answered - private questions (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, registering for, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms, by our Privacy Policy, and by our Community Guidelines, each of which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App is intended solely for users aged 18 and older.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that you are not barred from using the App under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
Community registration asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older before you create an account. This is a good-faith self-confirmation, not an identity-verification service. If you do not meet the age requirement, you may not access or use the App. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe, in our sole discretion, that the age requirement has not been met.
The App is offered only to users located in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please do not access or use the App. We make no representation that the App or its content is appropriate or available in any other location, and any access from outside the United States is at your own initiative and risk.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide information that is accurate and to keep it reasonably current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account. Notify us promptly at answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not create an account using another person’s identity, impersonate any person, operate accounts by automated means, or create accounts to evade a suspension or termination.
We may, at any time and in our sole discretion, with or without notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or your access to the App, including where we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or created legal or technical exposure for us. We may also discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your community account directly in the App under Me → Delete community account, or follow the instructions at Delete Your Account. Deleting the community account does not delete the private request desk stored locally on your device.
The App is currently offered free of charge. We may in the future offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases, which will be governed by this section.
If we offer subscriptions or in-app purchases, all payments are processed by the applicable platform provider (for example, Apple through the App Store). We do not process your payment card information.
If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current period. The price, billing period, and renewal terms, along with any free-trial terms and trial conversion terms, will be disclosed to you before you confirm a purchase, and will also be displayed on the purchase screen presented by the applicable platform.
You cancel a subscription through your platform account settings, not through the App. For iOS, subscriptions may be managed or cancelled in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are governed by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made. Except as required by applicable law or by the platform’s policies, payments are non-refundable and we do not separately issue refunds.
Prices, offers, and available features may change. Any price change will apply in accordance with applicable law and the platform’s rules.
The App allows users to submit, post, upload, or transmit content, including profiles, text, responses, comments, images, photos, videos, and other materials (collectively, “User Content”). You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the consequences of posting it.
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content through community features, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display and reproduce that content solely to operate, provide and improve the App, and to make it available to the correspondents you send it to. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already received by other users and for records we must keep as described in the Privacy Policy. Content you keep only on your private desk stays on your device and is never licensed to us or uploaded.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to grant the license in Section 5.2, and that your User Content does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate the rights of any third party or any law.
You agree not to submit or engage in any of the following:
We may, but are not obligated to, review, screen, filter, label, restrict, remove, or refuse to display any User Content, at any time and in our sole discretion, with or without notice. We do not undertake any obligation to monitor User Content, and we are not responsible or liable for User Content submitted by users or third parties.
If you believe content on the App infringes your copyright, send a notice to answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com including the information required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, including identification of the work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove or disable access to material in response to such notices and may terminate repeat infringers.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not conduct background checks and make no representations about any user. You should use caution, particularly when sharing information with people you do not know. You can report or block any correspondent from the conversation options; our enforcement practices are described in the Community Guidelines.
The App provides in-app features to report User Content or users that you believe violate these Terms, and to block other users from interacting with you. We review reports and may take any action described in this Section, including removing content or suspending accounts. We do not guarantee the outcome of any report.
If the App makes any artificial intelligence, machine-learning, or automated content-generation feature available, this section applies. Outputs generated by such features may be inaccurate, incomplete, unreliable, or inappropriate, and may not reflect current information.
You are responsible for evaluating any output before relying on or acting on it. Outputs do not constitute and are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including legal, medical, financial, psychological, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the App for decisions with legal, medical, financial, or safety consequences.
You may not use automated or AI-assisted features in a manner that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others, and you may not attempt to circumvent or disable safety or moderation measures associated with such features.
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other content provided by us (excluding User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the platform’s usage rules and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
You may not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, and you may not use our names, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.
The App may allow you to create or access an account using a third-party sign-in service (for example, Apple ID) and may contain links to third-party sites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their privacy practices.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service’s terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for complying with them.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Your license to use the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, and only as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App, and any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure of the App to conform to any warranty are our responsibility. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
We, and not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, we, and not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Questions, complaints, or claims regarding the App should be directed to us at answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com.
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY CONTENT, INCLUDING USER CONTENT OR AI OUTPUT, IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN THAT CASE, THE EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, USER CONTENT, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR THE APP OR THE APPLICABLE FEATURE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50).
THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY EVEN IF ANY LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any claims, actions, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your User Content; (b) your use of or access to the App; (c) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms or of any law; (d) your violation of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; or (e) any dispute between you and another user or third party.
We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us. You may not settle any such matter without our prior written consent.
Before filing a claim, you and we agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by sending written notice to answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com describing the dispute and the relief sought. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days after receipt of the notice, either party may proceed as provided below.
Except as provided in Section 13.5, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms, including the existence, validity, interpretation, breach, or termination of these Terms, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as those rules may be amended from time to time. The arbitration will be conducted before a single arbitrator, in English, and the seat and place of arbitration will be Wilmington, Delaware. The arbitrator will apply the substantive law of the State of Delaware, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration agreement. The arbitrator’s award will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Information about the AAA and its Consumer Arbitration Rules is available from the AAA.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND WE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, COORDINATED, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons, and may not preside over any form of class, collective, or representative proceeding. This waiver is a material part of these Terms; if it is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim must be litigated in court and the remainder of this section will remain in effect, subject to Section 13.4.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you and we each waive any right to a trial by jury in any proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, including any proceeding in court.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may: (a) bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies; (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent or stop actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property or unauthorized use of the App, or to enforce the class action waiver in Section 13.3; and (c) pursue any claim that cannot lawfully be subject to arbitration. Nothing in this section prevents you from filing a complaint with, or participating in an investigation by, any federal, state, or local agency.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com within thirty (30) days after you first accept these Terms, stating your name, account email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, the remaining provisions of these Terms continue to apply.
If any portion of this section is found unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect, except that if the class action waiver in Section 13.3 is found unenforceable as to a claim, this entire section will be unenforceable as to that claim.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the App are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement in Section 13.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your access or account at any time as described in Section 3.4, and may delete or restrict any User Content associated with your account.
Upon termination, the license granted to you in Section 7.2 ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 5.2, 5.3, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 18, will survive.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the revised Terms in the App or through another notice channel we make available in the App, and we will update the effective date at the top.
Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including through the App, and agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
Notices to you may be provided through the App or at the email address associated with your account. Notices to us must be sent to answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App, and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements on that subject.
Except as expressly provided in Section 9.7 regarding Apple, these Terms do not create rights for any third party.
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
All questions, complaints, support requests, privacy requests, and copyright notices relating to the App or these Terms must be directed to:
