Answered - private questions — Effective Date: October 22, 2026.

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

This Privacy Policy describes how Answered - private questions (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the App. For all purposes under this Policy, including privacy questions and the exercise of data rights, you may contact us at:

answerediosfeedback@answeredyes.com

The App also includes a built-in account deletion feature, which you can use directly in the App.

2. Scope

2.1

This Policy applies to the App and to the information we process through it. The App is offered only to users located in the United States and is intended for users aged 18 and older.

2.2

This Policy does not apply to third-party services, including third-party sign-in services, which are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect, and you may provide, the following categories of information:

3.1 Account information

Information you provide when you register or sign in, such as your name, username, email address, date of birth or age confirmation, and credentials or authentication tokens. If you sign in using a third-party service such as Apple ID, we may receive identifiers and information that service makes available to us, which may include a name, email address, and a unique identifier.

3.2 Profile information

Information you add to your profile, such as a display name, username, bio, avatar, and preferences.

3.3 Content you submit

Content you create, post, or transmit through community features, including text, questions, responses, comments, and other materials you share with other users. Your private request desk and drafts are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to us; see Section 7.

3.4 Device and technical information

We process the technical information needed to run the account service, such as device type and model, operating system and app version, language, general region, IP address, connection status, and an installation identifier used to keep you signed in. The App does not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA or GAID) and contains no advertising or cross-app tracking SDK. It does not request or collect location, photo-library or camera content, contacts, calendars, microphone audio, health data or motion data.

3.5 Payment information

The App currently offers no purchases. If paid features are added in the future, purchases may be processed by the applicable platform provider or a payment processor. We do not receive your full payment card number, and we may receive only limited transaction-related information such as a purchase confirmation or subscription status.

3.6 Sources

We collect information directly from you, such as when you register, fill in your profile, or post content, and from the third-party sign-in provider you choose to connect, such as Apple ID.

4. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  1. to provide, operate, maintain, and deliver the App and its features;
  2. to create, administer, authenticate, and secure your account;
  3. to process, store, display, and distribute content you submit, including making it visible to other users as intended by the App’s functionality;
  4. to maintain, improve, and develop the App and its features;
  5. to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
  6. to moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service and other policies;
  7. to communicate with you about the App, including service, support, and administrative messages;
  8. to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and those of our users and third parties; and
  9. for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

We may combine information we collect from different sources and use it for the purposes described above.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the following categories of recipients:

5.1 Service providers (hosting)

Community accounts and community content are stored on a backend API gateway that we operate with a cloud hosting provider. That provider processes the data on our instructions to run the service — hosting, storage, infrastructure, security and technical operations — and is bound by written agreements that require confidentiality and safeguards equivalent to those described in this Policy. We do not use advertising networks, advertising or analytics SDKs, or data brokers, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5.2 Login and platform providers

If you use a third-party sign-in or platform service, we may share information with that provider as necessary to operate the sign-in or platform integration.

5.3 Payment processors

If the App offers paid features in the future, we may share information with payment processors and the applicable platform provider as necessary to process transactions, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.

5.4 Other users

Content you post or share through the App may be visible to other users or to the public, depending on the App’s functionality and your settings. Please consider carefully what you share.

5.5 Legal and regulatory

We may disclose information where we believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental or regulatory request; to enforce our Terms of Service; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.

5.6 Corporate transactions

We may disclose and transfer information as part of, or in connection with, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, including during due diligence.

5.7 With your consent

We may share information with other recipients where you direct us to or where you provide consent.

6. Cookies, Identifiers, and Similar Technologies

6.1

The App does not use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) or tracking technologies. We may use local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and maintain the security of the App.

6.2

You can remove local storage through your device settings or by deleting the App.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:

See also the account-deletion instructions at Delete Your Account.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1

Subject to applicable law and to certain exceptions and limitations, you may have the right to:

  1. access the personal information we maintain about you;
  2. request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  3. request deletion of certain personal information;
  4. delete your account using the built-in deletion feature in the App (see Delete Your Account);
  5. object to or restrict certain processing, including sharing;
  6. withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  7. not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

8.2

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at . We may need to verify your identity before processing a request, and we may request information necessary to do so. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority.

8.3

You may also manage certain choices directly through your device settings and your App account settings, including signing out and deleting your account in the App.

8.4 California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA/CPRA):

This Policy serves as our notice at or before collection as required by the CCPA/CPRA. We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 18, and the App is not intended for them. The categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 3, 4, and 5 of this Policy.

8.5 Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of other states may have similar rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, or opt out of certain processing. Requests may be submitted to .

9. Children’s Privacy

9.1

The App is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9.2

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us at and we will review and take appropriate action.

9.3

Because the App requires users to be 18 or older, we do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 18.

10. International Data Transfers

The App is operated in the United States, and we process and store information within the United States. If we were to transfer information outside the United States in the future, we would take the measures required by applicable law to safeguard it.

11. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee, and do not warrant, the absolute security of any information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

12. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases, and with the cloud hosting provider that runs our backend API gateway. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, and this Policy does not apply to their independent practices. The App contains no advertising network, no third-party analytics provider and no data broker integration. Please review Apple’s privacy policy for the parts of the experience Apple controls.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy in the App or through another notice channel we make available in the App, and we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after the revised Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
