Answered takes child safety seriously. This Policy explains who may use the App, how we handle child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and how to report a concern. It should be read with our Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Answered is not directed to children. Community features require you to be 18 or older, and registration asks you to confirm this. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We prohibit, in the strongest terms:
Where we become aware of such content or conduct, we remove it, permanently terminate the accounts involved, preserve the relevant records, and report to the appropriate authorities. In the United States we report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law, and we cooperate with valid legal requests.
We aim to respond to child-safety reports within 24 hours and to take down confirmed violations immediately.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States you can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
We ask every community user to confirm they are 18 or older before creating an account. This is a good-faith confirmation, not an identity-verification service. If we learn or reasonably suspect that an account belongs to someone under 18 or is being used by or on behalf of a minor, we will suspend or terminate the account and delete the associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.
